Mendoza Active Tour

This 5-day/4-night tour can be booked separately or as part of your Argentina holiday. You will discover Mendoza and its surrounds in an active way. On one day, you’ll go on a Horseback trip and, on the other, a Mountain bike tour. On the last day, you’ll go on a long excursion into the Andes and nearly to the Chilean border. In the meantime, you’ll stay in a comfortable hotel in Mendoza, so you will get to know the city well.

Daily Itinerary for the Mendoza Active Tour

Day 1 - Arrival in Mendoza
Our colleagues will collect you at Mendoza airport and take you to your hotel, where you will stay in bed and breakfast accommodation.

Day 2 - Horse-riding at Blanco Encalada
Today, we will take you from Mendoza to Blanco Encalada, which is located at an elevation of 1,400 m. From here, you’ll go on a horseback tour through the stunning Mendoza landscape, enjoying the sense of adventure created by the trip. You’ll spend the night in Mendoza again.

Day 3 - Mountain-bike bodega tour
This great tour will take you to Chacras de Coria, about half an hour outside Mendoza. You’ll visit 2 wine bodegas, receive information about the different grape varieties and then enjoy a varied tasting session. You’ll also visit the MUCHA museum in Chacras de Coria. At the end of the afternoon, you will be returned to Mendoza.

Day 4 - Alta Montaña excursion
Today, you will visit the Alta Montaña area where you’ll see the most beautiful parts of the landscape surrounding Mendoza. We’ll start by visiting the Villavicencio Nature Reserve, the famous hotel and the road with 365 bends to Paramillos at 4,000 above sea level. Then, we’ll continue to Valle de Uspallata, with its breath-taking views of the area, and carry on all the way to the historic Picheuta site. The route will then take us to Puente del Inca, featuring a naturally eroded stone bridge and hot springs, ending at a lookout point from where you’ll have a stunning view of the Aconcagua, the highest point in the southern hemisphere at almost 7,000 m. You will again spend the night in Mendoza in bed and breakfast accommodation.

Day 5 - Continuation of your holiday
We will take you to the airport so that you can continue your holiday.
