Argentina is a large country with a total land surface area of 1,068,360 square miles. It is also the seventh largest country in the world in terms of surface area and the largest Spanish-speaking country. Argentina is more than eleven times the size of the United Kingdom.
Because of this, you can imagine that travelling in Argentina is somewhat more complex that taking a drive to Devon.
Travelling in Argentina by domestic flight or rental car
Most travellers fly when they need to cover great distances, meaning that they often use Buenos Aires’s Aeroparque national airport as a hub. You could also cover parts of your holiday trip with a rental car and tailor your flights to suit this. Often, this results in a great holiday during which you get to see and experience more of the country.
Travelling in Argentina by coach
If you consider the cost of flying to be prohibitive, you could cover large distances in comfortable (overnight) coaches. These trips are very affordable, comfortable and often take place overnight. The disadvantage is that you’ll lose much time during your Argentina holiday and you generally won’t see much along the way.
